A wise monkey once said, “Well begun is half won”. Day 0 of DS opened its gates for documentation and scrutiny of vehicles alongwith registration of service vehicles at Saket, New Delhi.

So, now we reach Day 1 of Desert Storm 2016 I.e. 3rd April 2016. The day starts early at 0800 hrs and proceedings from Day 0 continues with registration and scrutiny, concluding at 1300 hrs. At around same time, we shall publish the ceremonial start order.

Mid noon shall see us reaching the most important parts of the day. Over two years of my buzzing around motorsports, this is one of the most important things I heard “The Compulsory Drivers Briefing”. Miss it at your own risk of missing out on most important info & must dos and donts about the event, yes there are penalties too (don’t say later Rally Bee dint remind; ) The Compulsory Briefing for Ndure & Explore shall happen at 1400 hrs followed by Xtreme , Quad & Moto at 1500 hrs.

Reach evening 1600 hrs, the ceremonial flag off of Desert Storm 2016 shall be unveiled with much fanfare and shutterbugs capturing each angle and edge of your mean machines.
This shall be followed by a pre event Press briefing.

And before I close, I gotta share with you one more thing. You have to reach Hanumangarh well in time for start of Day 2 proceedings which start with Parc Freme at 0900 on 4th April.
